The expo is open from October 30 to December 15, 2025. The main exhibition areas are located along Guangzhou's central axis, including Huacheng Square, Linjiang Avenue, Haixinsha, and Ersha Island. Admission is free and does not require prior registration.
🌸 Expo Highlights and Featured Exhibits
This year's expo features 38 exquisite exhibition gardens and 64 floral installations. Here are some of the key attractions you won't want to miss:
The "Light of Life" Pavilion (Night Garden): Located in Hongcheng Park on Ersha Island, this is a magical space dedicated to bioluminescent plants. All the plants here glow through their own biological mechanisms, recreating a dreamlike scene reminiscent of the movie "Avatar" and showcasing the potential of future green lighting.
The "Guangzhou·Kapok" Thematic Installation: Created for the upcoming 15th National Games, this installation is composed of fifteen components shaped like the Chinese character "广" to form a blooming kapok flower, symbolizing the vibrant spirit of the city and the Games.
Flower City Green Beauty Garden (Huacheng Lümei Yuan): On Ersha Island, this area showcases gardens representing different districts of Guangzhou. You can find the Nansha Garden with its coastal style, the Liwan Garden featuring a giant phoenix crown art installation inspired by Cantonese opera, and the Yuexiu Garden, which incorporates architectural elements from the historic Wuxian Temple.
International Masters Garden: This section features gardens designed by eight top-tier design teams from China, Germany, Italy, France, Canada, Japan, Switzerland, and the United States. Each garden presents a unique interpretation of themes like "city-park integration" and high-quality development.
The National Games Garden (Quanyun Huayuan): Comprising gardens from eight cities that have previously hosted the National Games, this area incorporates mascot topiaries from past games, evoking a sense of sporting history and celebration.
🚇 Planning Your Visit
Transportation: Taking the metro is a convenient option. Multiple lines connect to the venues, including Lines 3, 5, 6, 12, and the APM line. You can get off at stations like Zhujiang New Town, Guangzhou Tower, or Haixinsha.
